"Poon Choi" @ Day 7

Sun, 1st of Feb... Early in the morning, we went to Kek Lok Si Temple to visit my late great grand kong kong. After the prayer, we headed to Star View Restaurant at New World Park for lunch, which was a CNY treat from my Yee Cheong Kong.

This year we had something special... called "Poon Choi", a traditional dish from Hong Kong i believe. It was served in a big pot with a variety of dishes, that included vege, prawn, abalone, chicken, pork and etc. Yummy... Yummy!!!

Full House @ Day 6

Sat, 31st Jan 09... Finally mummy and her gang managed to meet up for CNY gathering. Again, we had a full house at Kong Kong's place :D The house was full of daddies, mummies and babies... Ha Ha! More and more babies are added to our group now and we have one more on the way...

As usual, the daddies were enjoying their Mahjong and mummies were busy chit chatting while taking care of their babies... Then, my mummy was happily snapping photos of us, i bet she has taken nearly 10000 pics of me ever since i was born. Thanks to the invention of digital camera :)

"Hello Renee... what's wrong with you? Why are you crying loudly here? Anymore bully you?"

"Renee, did you hear me? Let me see your face... Tell me what's going on... tell me!!!"

"Over... over... Renee... can you lift up your head??? Let me see what i can do to help... over... over!!!"

Visit for Babysitter @ Day 5

Fri, 30th Jan 2009... I paid a CNY visit to my Auntie (The babysitter) and her family. So glad to see Je Je there, i missed her so much ever since she went to U-TAR for her study. I knew she missed me too, as she asked auntie to call mummy and checked out if i would go back. She wanted to meet me during this CNY break before she went back to U-TAR again. "Je Je, you have to come back more often huh... i need more ppl to play with!!!"

Auntie prepared so much food for me to eat, i just couldn't stop eating when i was there... Biscuit one after another, cakes and followed by fruits... Ha ha!!! This was the best thing for CNY, everyone had an excuse to eat... no one would stop you, coz those CNY biscuits and cakes were meant to be eaten during this prosperous season!!! Ha ha...

"Mummy no worries, i still have room to grow... "

Chuah's Family Dinner @ Day 4

Thurs, 29th Jan 2009... It was CNY gathering dinner for Chuah's Family again, this year we had on the 4th day of CNY and we were not having the ordinary Chinese food but Nyonya Cuisine. It was so out of my expectation :P, anyway it was great that we could have something different this year. Everyone enjoyed the dinner so much :) Yummy...

CNY... Day 2

Tues, 27th Jan 2009... 2nd day of CNY was always the day to have lunch with my Tai Poh. This year we went to Corner Club for lunch Dim Sum again. It was too great to see my Tai Poh could eat healthily and a lot.

After lunch, we went to the Kuan Yin Temple for prayer as usual. Too bad, i didn't manage to join, coz i fell asleep in the car and mummy got to stay with me :P Nothing could be better than hugged mummy to sleep.

CNY... Day 1

Mon, 26th Jan 2009... "Wake up Cayden... Wake up..." I kept hearing mummy voice but i just couldn't open my eyes in the morning. Mummy had tried all her ways to wake me up, finally she said "Let's go kai kai"... without a second thought i opened my eyes :D

Mummy quickly bathed me and dressed me up in a white China costume, which she bought for me from Shanghai. It looked so nice on me huh... "Don't you think so???"













Followed the routine, we visited Ah Kong's house 1st, then my Kong Kong's house. After that, we accompanied Kong Kong they all to visit my Cho Cho at fifth grand uncle's house. We met a lot of our relatives there, which was the biggest family gathering yearly and of coz i collected a lot of ang pows in this gathering.













After a busy day, we went home and rest. Mummy and I took a nap till 7pm, we woke up just for dinner... ha ha! Thus, we went back to Kong Kong's house again... as there always full of food. This year, Kao Fu brought his gal friend, Seok Yee Je Je back for our family gathering too :) Since we have nothing much to do, Aaron Ah Ku invited Seok Yee Je Je to play fire crackers with us.

It was my 1st time to play fire crackers and i loved it. Mummy they all thought i would be scared of the fire, who knows i was braved enough to hold it :D No doubt, it was a great experience for me... Couldn't wait to play again tomorrow night... hee hee!

Chinese New Year Eve 2009...

Sun, 25th Jan 2009... I was having my afternoon nap while everyone was still busy doing the last minute cleaning :P Once i woke up, i followed daddy and mummy back to Ah Kong's house for the reunion dinner. After the dinner, we went back to Kong Kong's house and continue to have the 2nd round of reunion dinner. Eating all the way... ha ha!!!

With no excuse, mummy was busy cooking the bird nest for everyone as dessert again. It was such a big pot like cooking soup :D Everyone was delighted with Peggy's bird nest, as it was too yummy... Kao Fu and Yi Yi were even "fighting" to get the 2nd bowl. Luckily, mummy cooked enough which can still serve them the 2nd round :) I was the luckiest one, I didn't have to fight for any bird nest as daddy and mummy kept feeding me... ha ha! I liked it so much... tasted too good!!!! "Thanks mum!"

After the dessert, we went to the temple for prayer with our new year eve costume as usual. This year, mummy got the size for me too :) We were in "Mr Men Little Miss" T-shirts, it fitted everyone of us... thanks to mummy again!

Nothing extraordinary for our new year eve, but it was still a warm and happy get together moment... i love being with my family all the time :)
